Pat Trenaman (CVS Inverclyde) presented the results of a consultation on the potential for a Home Start Project in Inverclyde.

Home Start offers a unique service; they recruit and train volunteers who are usually parents themselves to visit families with at least one child under five, at home, and offer them informal, friendly and confidential support. The development of this project would require commitment from a host organisation from the voluntary sector to take it forward.

You can access the research paper by clicking Home Start in Inverclyde (Final Report).

If you are interested in more information about this opportunity, please contact CVS Inverclyde on 01475-710207 to discuss.
